Terms of use

These terms are between you and Litmux Technologies, Ghana ("Litmux", "we"). By creating an account or using Litmux Studio you agree to them.
Your account
Give a real name and an e-mail address you use, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account. One account is for one person; schools and companies can ask us for a licence that covers a lab or a team.
The free trial
A new account gets one free trial of every app, on the computer it is created on, for the number of days shown in the app. There is one trial per person and per computer. When it ends, the apps lock until you choose a plan.
Plans and payment
- Prices are shown in the app and on litmux.tech, in Ghana cedis, and include what you pay us. Your network or bank may add its own charges.
- A plan opens the apps listed for it, on the number of computers it allows, for the period you paid for. Paying again for the same plan adds the new period to the time you have left. Changing to another plan starts the new plan on the day you pay.
- Payments are taken by our payment gateway, SvdPay (built on Hubtel), by Mobile Money or card.
Automatic renewal
If you turn on automatic renewal, you allow us to take your plan's price from the Mobile Money wallet you approved, once per period, when your plan ends. You approve it once with your network. You can cancel any time from your account in the app: your plan keeps running until its end date and nothing more is taken. If a renewal payment fails we try again the next day, and stop after three tries.
Refunds
If something went wrong with a payment - for example you were charged twice, or the app does not work on your computer - write to us within 14 days and we will put it right, by a refund to the wallet that paid or by extending your plan. Litmux AI credits that have been used are not refunded.
Licence
We give you the right to use Litmux Studio on your computers while your plan or trial is active. You may not copy, resell or share your licence, change the app to get round the licence checks, or use someone else's account. If we find a licence being misused we may sign those computers out or close the account.
Your work
Everything you design with Litmux Studio belongs to you, including drawings, boards, programs and G-code, and you may use it for any purpose, including commercial work.
Machines and safety
Litmux Studio can produce G-code for CNC machines and programs for real boards and controllers. Always check the toolpaths, the simulation and the machine set-up before you run a job, and follow the safety rules of your machine and workshop. Engineering results from the app (for example beam or wiring checks) help you design; they do not replace a qualified engineer's approval where the law or the job requires one.
Litmux AI
Litmux AI can make mistakes. Check its answers, especially anything that powers mains equipment or moves a machine. Answers use credits; plans include credits every month and you can buy more in the app.
Changes and availability
We improve the app often and may change features. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before the change applies. The app works offline after you sign in, but signing in, buying, renewing and Litmux AI need our server, which we work to keep available at all times.
Liability
As far as the law of Ghana allows, Litmux is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or damage to machines, boards or materials caused by using the app, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.
